Since 2006, native Texan and in-demand real estate professional Bob Hachtel has matched buyers with dream properties and sellers with dream outcomes in and around Austin. He has facilitated over $100 million in transaction volume throughout his career, and he played a prominent role in overseeing a $33 million team transaction volume in 2021. Bob has accumulated numerous top-producer accolades and ranked in several best-of lists compiled by RealTrends and Austin Business Journal.

With a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and a previous career as a mortgage loan officer, Bob offers his clients a unique insight into mortgages and investments. He is known for giving helpful advice, being supportive and welcoming, and being willing to drop everything to solve any issues a client may be experiencing. Bob and his wife Michaela, who is also his real estate partner, provide their clients with a highly effective two-heads-are-better-than-one approach. While their extensive knowledge of real estate and local markets may seem serious, they both keep their approach friendly, warm, and personal — never afraid to add a dash of fun to any situation.

Bob’s background in finance and sales makes him an expert in negotiation tactics and fine-tuning contracts, both of which are tremendous assets to his clients. While Bob loves all things real estate, he gets the most satisfaction from matching buyers with their dream homes and assisting his sellers using the latest effective marketing tactics.

When he’s not closing deals, Bob can often be found sniffing out new local restaurants and spending time with Michaela and their two kids. He’s also quite the musician, so be sure to ask him about his favorite Austin acts or catch him taking it back to ’80s rock with his garage band. Additionally, he supports Foundation Communities, Habitat for Humanity, and Texas food banks.
